"Imagine the Future" Opening Day Celebration
While finding solutions to the climate crisis may seem daunting, we are not alone. Join us for an opening day celebration for our redesigned gallery, Imagine the Future.
In the gallery, see stories of resilience and hope from community members, scientists, and climate activists. Explore your emotions about climate change and learn what changes we can expect in Minnesota. Then decide what actions you’ll commit to in order to make meaningful contributions everyday.
During the opening celebration, we’ll be joined by people featured in the exhibition and partners from the University of Minnesota, including the Forever Green Initiative, Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership, and Office of Sustainability. Meet community organizations COPAL and Monarch Joint Venture, learn about the state’s Climate Action Framework with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and more! Be sure to stop by the Climate Chaser, a restored camper outfitted with recording equipment, to tell your own climate story with Backyard Phenology.
While you’re here, join us for Monarchs and Milkweed in the Nova Galleries, or catch We are Guardians in the planetarium.
This is an in-person event at the Bell Museum and is included in the cost of regular admission. This event is part of our yearlong programming focusing on climate change, Year of Earth at the Bell Museum.
