10th Annual Chalkfest Maple Grove, a FREE 2-Day Street Art Festival
Selfie poses with 3D art, chalk-stained fingers and downward looking spectators gathering in downtown Maple Grove are common sights during Chalkfest Maple Grove, which draws more than 25,000 spectators annually. Taking place Saturday and Sunday, June 7 and 8, Chalkfest Maple Grove is a free, 2-day street art festival with entertainment, food and family fun, presented by the Maple Grove Business Association.
Chalkfest will feature sidewalk chalk art by more than 50 professionals, amateurs, students and art enthusiasts from around the world and as far away as Mexico, Ukraine, Turkey and Colombia. Main Street Maple Grove is transformed into a street art gallery open for public viewing. Don't forget to snap a photo on one of the 3D art pieces or have one printed out at one of two digital photo booths at the event! Talk about AMAZING selfies! There is also the FREE Chalk Zone area by Maple Grove Arts Center between 3 Squares and Broadway Pizza with art activities, chalk classes, chalking squares, a mandala chalk design and more creativity for spectators of all ages.

The Minnesota Super Cup resumes! Minneapolis City hosts Minnesota United MLS Next in the first round of the Super Cup at Edor Nelson Field in Minneapolis. Students may be asked to show a student ID at entry. Youth 14 years and under must have an accompanying adult. Kids 6 and under are free.

Come cheer on the Minnesota Wind Chill as they take on the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds at Sea Foam Stadium in St. Paul!
The Wind Chill are the 2024 UFA Champions, defeating the Carolina Flyers by a score of 17-16 in the Championship Game in Salt Lake City on August 24th, 2024, to secure their first ever title in franchise history. The Wind Chill are heading into their 12th season in the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) in 2025 and have qualified for the playoffs in six of the last seven seasons.
Wind Chill games feature the Stinson Services Sideline Beer Garden, Amazing Scott the Balloon Artist, Face Painting, Multiple Food/Ice Cream Trucks, Yard/Disc Games, and more! Take a photo with our mascot, "Chilly" the Polar Bear! Get post-game autographs with players and throw the Frisbee around with friends on the field after the game.
Every adult 21+ in attendance will receive a voucher for a FREE beer at Surly Brewing Company after the game that night during the official post-game party.
