Morning

Are you looking for the closeness of Minneapolis without being directly in the hectic downtown area? It’s not for everyone, which is why the hotels in the Twin Cities Gateway are here for you. North, south, east and west of downtown Minneapolis, there’s always a hotel that fits your budget and lifestyle needs.

Mid Morning

The kids don’t want to get dragged around. Nothing is worse than the unrelenting “I’m borrrrrrreeddddd” every 5 seconds. When you take your kids to the Science Museum of Minnesota, though, you’ll never have to worry about that. In fact, the biggest thing you’ll have to worry about is telling them it’s time to go. Kids can make a tornado, grow some cells, conduct their own experiments and a whole lot more.

Lunch

Coming to Minnesota means an immersion in the culture. The food should taste Minnesotan, and Muffuletta strives to give you that signature feel. They use ingredients grown right here in the state, and their menu changes with each season. Plus, they’ve got a great kids menu, so you can make everyone happy.

Dinner

Keeping with the running theme of “places both kids and parents enjoy,” the Uptown Cafeteria takes the cafeteria staples kids love and turns them into chefed-up versions that adults love. Fan of mac and cheese? How about you try theirs, which includes charred broccoli, beech mushrooms, tomato, and walnut bread crumbs. They’ve got all this and more, so end a great day at a great restaurant.
