Amy Freese – Director of Partnership Marketing
Amy Freese joined Meet Minneapolis as the Director of Partnership Marketing in February 2011. She accumulated her account management and sponsorship development experience with organizations including the Minnesota Timberwolves, Acclaim Entertainment, Prodigy Internet and SBC Communications (now AT&T). She has a proven track record in cultivating partnerships for market growth with innovative programs. Amy works to offer the best methods of promotion of our partners to the visitors in Minneapolis. Amy has also spent time volunteering within various school districts to improve sustainability programs and educate students on simple greening practices that have a positive impact on the community.
Michael Rainville, Sr. – Partnership Marketing Manager
Michael Rainville has been a team member of Meet Minneapolis for 27 years. He developed the membership and sponsorship programs as well as helped develop the partnership program. His knowledge of the hospitality Industry and the City of Minneapolis is a great strength in assisting partners of Meet Minneapolis. As a lifelong resident of Minneapolis he is involved with his community, serving on the boards of The Ritz Theater, the Ballet of the Dolls, the NE Business Association, De La Salle High School, the Chief of Police Citizens Advisory Board and Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
SueSteinjoins Meet Minneapolis with more than 20 years of experience in sales, business development, and meeting management. Her experience includes working for NAPCP, Carlson Companies, Triad Conference, BI Worldwide and owning her own meeting management and marketing services firm. In her role as Partnership Marketing Manager she will apply her knowledge to support Meet Minneapolis’ current partners and enhance the strategic development to actively recruit new partners with an initial emphasis on the restaurant and retail categories. She also has served on boards and committees of many professional organizations including Meeting Professional International, International Special Event Society and the Senior Planners Industry Network.
Emily Ogaard Peterson joined the Meet Minneapolis Partnership Marketing team in May 2011. Emily’s background in hotel management and group sales gives her a unique understanding of the local hospitality industry and of our partners. She will be completing her Master’s in Business Administration Fall 2012 and has already begun to apply her business knowledge towards creating new partnership strategies. Her focus for the remainder of 2012 will be to grow our Greater Metropolitan hotel segment and partnerships with those who offer wedding services.
