This autumn, The Minnesota History Center proudly presents “Vatican Splendors,” an exhibit showcasing over 2,000 years of Vatican art and history. Works from Michelangelo are included in the collection, along with the venerated relics of Saint Peter and other historic items and art spanning from the 3rd to the 21st century. This is the first time that many of the exhibit’s objects are on display for the general public.

Vatican Splendors will give attendees a multisensory experience by presenting recreated Vatican environments, from the papal chambers to the catacombs of Saint Peter’s Basilica.

The exhibit runs from September 27 – January 18, 2008. Buy your tickets now.
