MCAD Art Sale

Each year local art aficionados flock in droves to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design's annual art sale. Why? Well, combine hundreds of majorly talented student and alumni artists, over 7000 works, price points under $1000 (with most under $100) and you've got the recipe for an rabid, art-buying frenzy. Snap up deals on amazing work by the up-and-coming and locally established alike; mingle with artsy-types; and add to your (hopefully) growing collection of visual splendors. Buying local artwork not only energizes the independent arts economy, but it inspires these rising stars to keep producing -- and what's life without art? Incredibly boring, if you ask us.
