Minneapolis Holiday Promotion Rules and Regulations

No Purchase Necessary. The Holiday promotion is open to U.S. residents who are at least 18 years of age at time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter: To enter, friend us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter or sign up to receive email on Minneapolis.org. Then, fill out the entry form as directed by November 26, 2008. One (1) entry per person. All entries must be completed in full. All entries received from ineligible entrants will be void. The name of two (2) winners will be randomly selected from all entries collected online.

Eligibility: Winners must meet the following criteria: must be at least 18 years of age at time of entry and must be a U.S. resident. Entries are void after November 26, 2008. Odds on becoming the winner will be determined by the number of entries received. Meet Minneapolis, Official Convention & Visitors Association accept no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, or misdirected entries. Winner need not be present at time of drawing. Officials of Meet Minneapolis will conduct the contest. All decisions of Meet Minneapolis will be final. The winner will be contacted by the e-mail address given on the online entry form. If the winner cannot be reached, does not respond within 5 days, or does not meet eligibility requirements or in the event of noncompliance, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries in a random drawing. Employees of Meet Minneapolis and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

Prize: Two (2) prize winners will be selected from all registrations. The winners will receive weekend accommodations at the Crown Plaza Northstar hotel or The Depot Minneapolis hotel, $50 gas card, $100 AMEX shopping card, $25 dinner certificate at a Minneapolis restaurant and a Mall of America gift pack. Total prize package is valued over $500.00.

Prize Restrictions: Sponsors of any and each prize and Meet Minneapolis reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute a prize or prizes of comparable value for any and all prizes. No other substitutions or cash equivalents allowed. Prizes are nontransferable. Winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state, local taxes and any additional fees associated with the prize. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Prize sponsors and Meet Minneapolis will not make any cash payment, for any reason, after the winner is awarded the prize.

Winner Releases: Winner agrees to release prize sponsors and Meet Minneapolis; and their agents, affiliates, employees, suppliers, and advertising, promotional, or judging agencies from any and all liability whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or while preparing for participation in and/or traveling to any prize-related activity. Winner may be required to sign an affidavit/disclaimer and tax forms. The winner will be notified when the appropriate contest and tax forms need to be signed if applicable. Winner and his/her guest consent and agree to the use of their names, photographs, and voices or likenesses for broadcast and promotional purposes by Meet Minneapolis and any prize sponsoring agency during and after the contest, without compensation by Meet Minneapolis and any prize sponsoring agency.
