NEMAA On The Plaza

The Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association announces a series of events in association with The Minneapolis Convention Center, City of Minneapolis and Meet Minneapolis. NEMAA will be staging artists throughout the Plaza of the Minneapolis Convention Center and next to MIMMI: Minneapolis Interactive Macro-Mood Installation, a large inflatable sculptural creation designed to display the city's mood throughout the summer and fall of 2013.

NEMAA will be partnering with lululemon athletica during Wellness on the Plaza: a full day of yoga, fitness classes and wellness presentations. Two well-known NEMAA artists, Linnea Doyle and Pete Driessen, will be creating a Wellness Art Wall, an interactive series of panels that will be available for guests to add their wellness goals either by drawing or writing them on the panels, surrounded by the artist's imagery.

NEMAA is a non-profit arts organization that works to build a more vibrant, diverse and economically healthy community through the arts.
