Fall Sports Itinerary

Morning: Hyatt Regency

If you're going to be a sports fanatic today, there's three things you'll be looking for in a hotel: good breakfasts, proximity and comfort. Enter the Hyatt Regency. Their Prairie Kitchen serves up some fantastic breakfast to fuel up in the mornings. The hotel is within walking distance to every stadium we have. And, their beds will swallow you whole and put you to sleep instantly after a night out. If you're looking for a hotel, this is it.

Pre-Game: Hubert's Sports Bar

Wake and wave, sports fan (it’s when you wake up and do your own personal wave). Game time is closer than you think, so head on over to Hubert's Sports Bar & Grill. Which one, you ask? Well, it depends on what game you’re going to. There’s a Hubert’s next to Target Field AND the Metrodome, so no matter where you go you’ll get some great pre-game grub.

Game Time: All The Sports!

It’s noon, so that means you’ve got a couple choices on your hands. Grab a ride on the Metro (our light rail system) or a Metro Transit bus with all the other fans to:

  • Target Field- Let the sun shine down into ESPN’s “Best Stadium in North America” as you take in a Minnesota Twins game.
  • Mall of America Field at H.H.H. Metrodome- While it might be a mouthful to say, the only word you need to know at The ‘Dome is “SKOL!” Cheer on the Minnesota Vikings as they look to grind the gridiron in 2013.
  • TCF Bank Stadium- The ‘Bank opens on Saturday afternoons for deposits in the form of touchdowns and some maroon and gold attire. Swing by the three-year-old stadium is one of the coolest football experiences in all of college football.

Post-Game: Brit's Pub

Win or lose, post-game always calls for a trip to Brit’s Pub. There’s nothing quite like the atmosphere of a British pub, and everything is identical to the experience over the pond. Relax on the patio, shoulder up to a stool at the bar or play a little lawn bowling on the roof (with real grass fields up there). Fish and chips washed down with Guinness, anyone?

Night: Shout House

Do you vocal chords still allow you to shout? Good. You'll need to, because we're sending you off to the Shout House to finish off your night. Grab some drinks, find a spot in the pack and get ready to shout at the top of your lungs to DUELING PIANO MEN! It's wild, and we guarantee you'll remember this experience for a long time.
