Dedicated to the latest must-haves in fashion, this event will highlight the fall fashion trends that you won't want to miss. Plucked from the pages of our September style issue, models will walk the runway in styles from the hottest Twin Cities boutiques and retail destinations. Allison Kaplan will host the festivities.

Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association Fall Fine Arts Show

Presented by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (NEMAA), the Fall Fine Arts Show is an annual exhibition of more than 150 of our memebers' artwork. American Swedish Institute

Swedes Rock! and you can too! Families can explore the world of modern music this summer in the ASI Family Gallery (third floor of Turnblad Mansion). Grab a prop, jump on the stage and rock out to your favorite music from yesterday and today made famous by Sweden’s hottest rock stars. When you are ready for a break, hit the Swede’s Rock! Cafe for a summer fika. Explore language of music behind the scenes, learn a musical alphabet, and set a tempo for a great summer! Included with museum admission.

Art at the Center: Recent Acquisitions
Walker Art Center

The Walker Art Center’s celebration of 75 years of collecting continues in the Burnet Gallery with a selection of recent acquisitions. Global, cross-disciplinary, and diverse, the exhibition reflects the Walker’s continued efforts to collect the most adventuresome works being made today. Curators: Olga Viso and Joan Rothfuss, with Andrew Blauvelt, Jill Vuchetich, and Mia Lopez
