Nothing says summer like a block party, and every year, Minneapolis neighborhoods do it up right. The 2nd-annual hipster bash is set for June 14th at the Red Stag Supper Club in Northeast Minneapolis. From 5–10:30 pm, enjoy performances from The Owls, the North Star Roller Girls, DJs and more. Check out goods from hip-hop record shop Fifth Element, a hula-hoop contest, a flea market with local artists, cool drinks and locally produced and organic foods. All proceeds benefit the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and in keeping with Red Stag's green-mindset, this is a zero-waste event. (Guilt-free fun!)
